Part of a single-page graphic novel spoof recipe, "Recipe for a Hardboiled Detective." There's always that integral part of the protagonist's disillusionment where he loses everything he has to lose (and thus has... NOTHING TO LOSE).

At the Rex again drawing. This player was amazing; the contrabass is such a physical instrument that I think the only way it can be played is if you really get into it.
